The enchanting duo of harpists Keziah Thomas and Eleanor Turner formed Double Action in 2002 with the objective of inspiring their audiences with creative and upbeat programming.

Music spanning five centuries of tragedy and tenderness is brought to life by the passion and commitment of these dazzling young artists.

Named after the double-action pedal harps which they play, the enterprising duo was selected for the prestigious Park Lane Group Young Artists Series 2005 at the Purcell Room in London. This resulted in the performance of three World Premieres and inspired their debut CD, Reaction.

Keziah Thomas and Eleanor Turner met whilst studying with Daphne Boden at the Royal College of Music. They gave their first duo performance in London in 2003 at St. James’s Church, Piccadilly. Later that year Double Action were sponsored by Pilgrim Harps to perform at ‘Journées de la Harpe’ in Arles and won third prize in the 5th International Competition for Chamber Music with Harp.
